PC PS3 Farkas may set any or all armor in his possession as his starting armor, even if it is not, making it impossible to take it away from him. PC This can be resolved by using the console commands removeitem item ID count after selecting Farkas by either clicking on him or using his ID.

Added bonus: On occasions your follower will go missing mainly due to you running off ahead etc. With Farkas as your follower whenever he does happen to go missing in action as he is one of the companions you go to when seeking more work after completing the companion quests , make that an active quest and you'll find where he is located very easily!
