PicBackMan does exactly what it's supposed to. It's quick and efficient. It runs unobtrusively in the background and has done an excellent job of uploading more than GB of photos to 2 different services. Albums are like playlists, you can delete them and it has no impact on the original image. My bet is that if you go carefully through the events you will find the original photos. Hope this helps.
