Halaa guide Hello there MMowned. I haven't really made much of an effort recently to help the community, so I wrote this little guide. What the guide includes: Information everyone needs to know about Halaa, and Rewards.
The Basics - Halaa is a town in the middle of Nagrand. Your Enemy - Your enemy will be one of the following. Another player from the opposite faction. Rewards At Halaa you may obtain many rewards. Although, you must have required items to get the rewards. Oshu'gun Crystal Powder Sample's may be obtained from basically any mob in Nagrand. There are two versions.
One for the Horde and one for the Alliance. You pass them in to the quest giver in Halaa. Now, many rewards can be obtained using all these items. All the rewards are as follows. Offensive - Bombing is how you initially will kill the guards. Defensive - To defend Halaa you must make sure that the enemy doesn't control any Wyvern camps. Tricks - If your on a Wyvern and flying back to the Wyvern camp and you see the enemy there, and you don't want to die, log out.
It is an instant logout, so you can just wait a few minutes until they've left and come back on. Go on opposite faction, and yell in trade "selling Halaa marks, whatever money for whatever amount of tokens Wait until you get some whispers, have them all party up, go onto your main that's on the OPPOSITE faction than the one you just tried to sell marks on, and let them repeatedly kill you until everyone gets their marks.
Some suggestions would be: -Take all your gear and put in your bank. They spawned 1 by 1 and then sometimes these huge waves of spawns. Its kindof logic as well tbh. I remember the TM raid thing vividly because often it was we were fighting, getting upper hand, and then someone called always for guard spawns, which meant we had to retreat a bit as alliance back to the tower somewhere between tow towns , take guards out and resume the combat and it was also time, when - depending if were at TM or they at down at ally town - defending team was able to regroup.
This topic was automatically closed 30 days after the last reply. The guards will respawn after being defeated, but at a rate of one guard every five minutes regardless of how many guards were defeated between spawns. When the last of the 15 guards is defeated, the respawn timer for the next spawn will increase to 60 minutes. The attacking side will then have a full 60 minutes to take control of the city before another guard spawns in. To be able to employ the services of the wyverns, the attacking side must take over the wyvern posts, which are located near the four bridges to Halaa.
This will allow attacking players to make Wyvern Attack Runs from that post. At the same time, defending players can attempt to ground the air assaults by interacting with the explosives carts next to the Wyvern posts — nothing like the direct approach. Once all guards have been defeated, the attacking side will have a one hour window of opportunity to capture the city before the next guard spawns. The capturing process is similar to the Hellfire Peninsula PvP process.
When the number of attacking players outnumbers the defending players for a long enough period of time, they will capture the town and guards for their side will begin to spawn. Once your side has gained control over the city, you will have access to two special NPCs: a Researcher and a Quartermaster. The researcher will accept these samples, found as a common drop from many creatures in Nagrand, in trade for Halaa Research Tokens.
